Well after LOTS of time and LOTS of running around. The Big Brake Kit has gone onto the car now. It wasn't a easy job, because nothing on my car is easy anymore. I will take it from the top.
If you are going to be putting this kit on with OEM wheels you have nothing to worry about from the start. But if you have a set of after market wheels. Be prepared to spend a little bit more. I say that because my after market wheels have a lip on them with a +35 offset. So the only way to make this work with my car was to Buy a bunch of little things. I had to buy extended studs so the car would be ok to put wheel spacers on. To make this kit work with my car, I had to put on a 9mm wheel spacer on each side, which doesn't look to bad. " at least I think so"
So to do this install make sure you have everything you need before you try and tackle the install.
For me I needed
APR studs
New lug nuts for the front wheels to fit the APR studs, which were 7/16 thread pattarn.
9mm wheel spacers
A good shop for the install
Start off on how to do the install.
1)Take the wheels off. "commen sense"
2)Loosen the caliper bolts
3)take the OEM rotors off
4)take out the brake lines
5)take out the wheel bearing
6)air hammer the studs out
7) put the new studs in
8)shave a bit of the rust off the wheel bearing
9)put the wheel beaing back in with the new APR studs
10)connect your brake line to your Rotora caliper
11)connect the brake line to the proper place
12)put the oversized rotora rotor in place
13)hook up everything and bolt it together
14)bleed the brakes
15)put wheel spacers and wheel hub ring in place
16)put wheel back on
17)get the turbo spooling and have some fun.
I will post pictures of the finished product tommorrow or the next day.

It's been a while now did you get these to work? Were they an improvment?

In reading about the HHR SS they have an option for Brembo brakes. Given there are a lot of parts used for both the Soltice and the HHR, I am wondering if these Brembo's would work on my GXP?

I just have registered only to know how the rotora BBK works.
I am planing to buy the Rotora in a few days and i would like to know everything about this kit. (If are there racing spare pads, discs, install...)
Thanks
I would say the Rotora kit is a very good BBK. It has cut down my stopping big time. The pads are very sticky on the brakes. You will notice that after they warm up. The only thing I didn't like was I had to add spacers to my wheels and extended apr studs that have a 7/16 bolt pattarn. So right now I have 2 different studs on my car. I might change the back later on during the year. I just need to find a better nut to hold my wheels on. The one I have isn't the best of nuts.

with the stock wheels i dont think you will have a problem. I think all the car on the tv show setup were using these brakes. Also what pics are you thinking for ? The overall end? Or the how to install ?
