I think I remember reading somewhere that the Z0K got better brake pads. I would have to search for it though.

Does this mean that based on the flow of this thread that the Z0K break pads are the porterfield r4s? I am confused.

On my Sky, I upgraded to HP+ right before I started autocrossing. The only problem is that they scream like dying babies every time I have to stop. I just couldn't take it anymore and bumped down to HPS. There is a noticeable difference, but it is still WAY better than stock.

EBC Yellowstuff. Better feel than stock, but tend to dust more.

3 sets now

I changed to EBC Red Stuff after the 1st summer. Stopping power was great but they squeaked on every "soft stop". Great if you were breaking hard, but that slow rolling stop squeak drove me nutz. So stock pads are back on now but I have the Hawk HPS pads in the garage waiting to go on. I guess I'll throw them on during the "storage" season that just arrived

We carry the same brake pads used by Don Knowles Run-off championship Solstice. These Hawk pads were developed for the perfect balance specifically for the Solstice/Sky chassis.

You can get more info on these pads here:
