Would it be pointless to change out the bars and leave it at the stock ride height. In the grand scheme of things the bars are quite cheap in the price department. I havent found the price or part number for that rear stiffner bar that gets welded though. I beleave the ZOK package is just the front and rear sways with the rear stiffener and new springs/shocks. Am I correct?

That's correct. It's my understanding that you can go to the GXP Z0K package and maintain the stock ride height by using a set of spring seats. That's about all the specifics I know, but somebody else around here should know more about the spring seat situation. But, my point is you can go to the Z0K springs and shocks AND maintain stock ride height if you want to.

Sam Strano [three time SCCA champion and well known in the F-Body community] always suggests upgrading swaybars before upgrading springs. So I don't see why you couldn't run ZOK swaybars with the stock springs. People do it all the time on F-Body's.

FYI for autocross use I found the GXP Z0K front sway bar to be too much and I went back to the stock FE3 bar that came on the car. Not to say that the bigger Z0K bar won't work for you but I wonder if you might try just the rear bar first?

IMHO the Z0K springs add a lot to the car handling-wise and I think you'd be very happy with them. If ride height is an issue you could either buy a spare set of spring perches from someone who has a Z0K (you can't buy the perches by themselves) or perhaps have someone make a shim to fit under the perch to raise it up the same amount.

How do the ZOK springs differ from the two Eibach springs offered?

rate?
height?
other?
