I have had my "Mean Yellow" for almost two weeks since I traded my "Sly" in for it!! And I must say that I love it, but here is my question! I went through the gears in the Sly and it would defineately chip the tires. Now with the GXP, when I go from 1st to 2nd the turbo losses boost and has to build back up. I defineately bang it through from 1st to 2nd, but can't keep the boost up. If I try to go close to the red line, then I hit the rev limiter. I would appreciate your input, you all are so good at it!!!!!

Sounds like you have traction control on! To the right of the steering wheel, push the button at the bottom of the 3 buttons. Push once and it takes off traction control. Push 2 times fast it'll go into competition mode (No traction control and lowered ESC). Hold the button down for about 7-10 seconds and it takes off traction control and ESC but be careful, this car is a monster with no traction or ESC! Do this and you'll be chirping 2nd and 3rd with no problems

I have read where some of you have talked about going into "traction mode" and I had no idea what they meant. Does it discribe this in the manual, I read it front to back and do not remember seeing it?

I went right out and tried what you recommended to "put it into competition mode" and it worked. And it seemed as though it helped the total performance, is that so? Can you explain what this does and you talk about a lowered ESC, what is that? Thanks for your help!!!!
