Too much done for it to not stick out.

Welcome to the forum

Actually it's not that unusual to see VDI doors and Norms hood and fenders.

The NA front bumper is a bit odd

Thanks been lurking here and Sky a lot and now finally ready to shop. The wheel pic looked like maybe a brake kit? The underhood pic was where I was curious if there were go faster parts the dealership might not understand the value of...

That looks like an NA with a Werks turbo kit installed. Check with Dave and see what he can tell you. Test drive it to make sure all is well. No tune issues or drive train problems

Someone spent a ton of money on it just to sell it. It could be a great buy or someone's problem child

It also has a Norms Fiberglass hood, though I've never seen one w/a forward modified scoop like that. Also, Norms lower front fenders, and rear center exhaust fiberglass exhaust valance, aftermarket mesh grills, VDI vertical doors kit, and Solo Performance center exhaust. Possible has the DDM short shifter?, Mornach J2 staggered wheels (18s or 19s?), which means the tires may be 245 fronts, and 275s rear Michelin tires. Yep on aftermarket drilled rotors and brakes. Unfortunately I can't make out the brand of the brakes.

I can see the blue sensor so possibly the GMPP tune, GXP red stitch seats, the base 2.4 fascia might mean the former owner like the cleaner looks of the base fascia but then would lose the benefit of the GXP lower intercooler grill.

Lot of money spent on this, and the mileage (21,000) indicates this was probably a weekend type car, signs it was loved.

It says that it is a 2.0 liter engine, and it has GXP logos; however, it does have the n/a front.

There is a thread on here somewhere about it. Has tons of mods, a lot of one-off stuff. Also, a lot of cutting and altering inside the engine. I called about it as a charity car, but the dealer said he is keeping it for himself (this was a few weeks ago). The guy who owned it was shooting for 500 hp or something and eventually moved on to a Viper. There are a lot of valuable parts on it, but would need a really competent Sol tuner to make heads or tails of it. It had a Norms 430 bumper on during the guy's big build, and that has since been replaced. It is a highly modified GXP.

Again, there is a thread on this board if someone wants to search. I think I found it via searching the Norm's stuff.

Based on the pics in the other thread, and the NA front end, I'd say this one was in an accident. I can't imagine any other reason to swap Norm's 430 bumper for an NA bumper. And, the bumper doesn't fit correctly. See gap between bumper and hood near the LH headlight.

Blue-ish 2006 2.4, Werks stage 1 turbo, GMPP cat-back, TCE Wilwood 6 piston front brakes, 4-piston rears , Stainless brake lines, slotted and drilled rotors, DDM braces, BR Racing coilovers, Spec aluminum flywheel, Spec stage 2 clutch, Werks aluminum radiator, DDM oil catch can, Autometer boost, water and AFR gauges, RKSport hood, Morimoto FX-R HID headlights, GReddy Profec @ 13PSI, custom A-pillar gauge pod. Norm's 430 bumper, vented fenders

Currently on engine #4!
