I think its cool that you can look at different things like temp, oil life and stuff on the info center, but what I found is if you look at something, you have to scroll all the way through the menu to get back to the odometer? is their a short cut I'm missing? or am I doing it right? Gary

You're doing it right. A bit of a pain but the car is so wonderful, it's worth it.

I've been leaving my DIC on FUEL RANGE=xxx just so I don't have to squint to read the fuel gage. It's rough getting old.

I simply don't know why GM didn't make the reset button function as the scroll backwards function. It's only function is performed when you press and HOLD. I think it would be easy to make the change in the software.

It doesn't just function as a reset. It also allows you to select menu items and dismiss warning messages.

What I like is being able to turn the horn off when you lock or unlock the doors. Right now I have it off for both but I may turn it back on for door locking.

Mine too. I think they don't want you trying to set up your prefs while you're flying down the road.

It would be nice if one of those preferences let you select what information gets displayed in the standard rotation. That might accomplish what you want. It would also be nice if you could turn on the ambient temperature display, like the Sky has.

That's what I want and am willing to bet it could be activated. Hopefully, someone will hack the DIC in the near future.
