Trying to decide between an Aggressive or Envious color choice. I have seen the red in lots of Car show pics but never an Envious. I like green but all of the glossy booklets and GM web sites give you a shading view of the color. Does anyone have a "field" pic of this color. Thanks in advance!
Wanted Envious and saw Aggressive. When I had the chance to buy I found the sand and steel interior which I really wanted. The car was painted Cool and when I heard about it over the phone I was unsure. Do not count out the light colors, this car glitters day and night. Would not have ordered it but glad I got it. Good luck on your choice.

For what ever it's worth....I had the same dilemma as you. At first I ordered an Envious with Tan (Lightside) Top and Sand/Granite interior. After researching some pics, I found the Sand interior and Tan top to be different colors and the granite to be a bit too light (the Sky has a darker interior which would have been better with the tan if it the sand matched the tan lightside top). the tans should match but unfortunately don't.
I also found out the cloth interior is softer (~ 3" more padding) and is not a prone to temp. fluctuations as leather (i.e in hot and cold). Because of this and the fact I wear a green uniform, I decided to change my order completely.
Being I own a white house and white cat, it ruled out white. I was reluctant on silver as my last vehicle was silver. Black wasn't an option for me due to maintenance and heat. So I opted for the Victory Red (a.k.a Agressive) over the Serene Blue...
After doing some more research I found the red wasn't what I thought it would be. Red is nice but for me has to me has to be spot on. Plus my wife and I decided to paint the livingroom and front door of our house red which was beginning to be a bit too much red in my life.
I went to a dealer and looked at the color chips (which was very helpful) and found for me the red on the G6 is what I hoped the Sol would be. Unfortunately the red on the Sol is the same as the Pursuit (which is a little too light for me).
I felt Serene blue was very nice but would show too much dirt/dust like black.
So, don't worry about changing your mind....I did a few times already (and hopefully am done now). I changed my order from envious to red and now cool.
The cool is timeless. With a black top the contrast is great, especially the rear lights which stand up better than on red. Dust/dirt and heat should be pretty minimal and the ebony cloth interior will blend very well with it too.
My last silver vehicle wasn't even on the market a week. It hides paint imperfections and scratches very good, as well.
The only thing I don't like about the cool Base I ordered is that the grill doesn't stand out as much. So, once I get it, I'll probably paint the grill out black so it has the same contrast as is the case with the GXP's which come standard with black grills. Looks very smart and gives the front a punch. - especially on a cool as the grill fads out ont he base being the same color (in my opinion anyway).
Let us know what you decide.

Due to long family relationships with various British sports cars my wife and parents agree that the only "correct" color for a roadster is British Racing Green. Oddly, none of those sports cars were BRG!
I'm looking forward to my Envious GXP. Aside from my feeling that it is stunning, it will be the least common color of an uncommon car.

BUT....if I could get a second Sol, I would get it in Envious with a Lightside top. Then, I would order it with Cloth and put aftermarket Camel colored leather. Yum
