I have a 2007 gxp and have a few issues ...

1. When I run the ac it makes this funny whine noise in the engine and once I shut the ac off ... it stops ... anyone else have this problem?

2. When I first start up my car it starts missing for a few minutes until the rpm drops it stops ... it only has 3000 miles ... ?

The AC whine is very common. Some folks have had it serviced per an advisory that unfortunately is on a phone of mine that just broke. Do a search on air conditioning or noise. The cars do run rough for the first minute or so, even the owners manual warns of this; but mine doesn't miss.

Shouldn't miss. I do not warm up modern vehicles; there is no need. I drive the care gently until it warms; when driving it only takes a minute or two to get around 180-190*F. By the time you're a mile away, you're up to temp

I mention that because I routinely hop in my GXP, crank the engine, and drive away, first thing in the morning. No misses, hesitations, bucks, kicks, nothing, it just drives. 2700 miles

Your car may have a problem, and I would contact your dealers' service department

I would have the dealer look at both of those.

The engine controller is setting a new baseline when it first starts up. It takes mine about 30 seconds to set itself up. You can hear it clearly through the CAI. then it settles down and runs just fine. It runs a bit rough during this period but is not missing. Are you sure its missing and not just running a little rough?
