So my credit union calls me the Thursday before last and said they had put on a promotion to increase card usage. Each swipe of the credit card automatically entered me into their contest. They said I won the grand prize a 2008 Solstice. I was shocked, I didn’t know they had a contest and worse yet, I didn’t even know what a Solstice was. For the last 8 days I have been lurking here reading as many posts as I could before I picked it up today. Firstly, I would like to thank everyone for having so many posts full of information; this was the number one place I have learned about the Solstice. I’ll be posting some pictures tomorrow after I detail it.
It’s a GXP with Automatice Tranny, A/C, Monsoon, Leather, and Spoiler.
I’ve spent most the day driving it and showing it off to my friends and family. I’m pretty sure I got sunburn as it was pretty darn hot today in Central Florida.
This car is in a word phenomenal. I’ve owned other sports cars and they didn’t even compare to the feeling this one produces. I’m planning on going out tonight to see how it feels in the cool night air. I’m also looking to hook up with some of the Orlando and Tampa people for some runs.
