Dam I may have to get this tune now. Tough part is every time I spend a lot of money on the solstice it's like one more month that I won't have my porsche back on the road.

He just sent me a new tune he thinks will be even closer to 300 rwhp. Yum Boxsters are yummy to eat. I am certain that is not the Porsche you mean. I have a good friend with an '06 911 Turbo convertible I dream of catching him some day.

I know you meant on the road, but I bet you can catch him at his next fill-up. You've already passed him on value for the money - maybe.

LilGoat - What kid of 0-60 times are you getting? I'm guessing you have the ability to log that. I'm anxious to get this tune and see what it can do on a stock car. I do plan on getting my exhaust in April as well...after that I'll be in a mod holding pattern probably until spring of 2009.
I know I'm not the first to say it, but we all really appreciate your leg work with Lyndon on this tune. These dyno runs aren't cheap. I think we all owe you a beer (or a case) at least!
EDIT: There's going to be a large group of us with the Wester's tune....do they have any stickers or other stuff to help promote his work? I don't put stuff all over my car, but I do have some put away in some not so obvious places (door jams, under the hood, etc).

That dyno run, was the run of the test tune. He has changed it a bit to smooth it out and added more fuel in a few places. He told me I should see 300 rwhp now, just haven't been to the dyno again yet. Westers does have a nice purple sticker, it is the same as when you first log into his site. It has been a process, getting from being the first GXP Westers tuned (he had never seen a GXP) now he has one, to where we are now. He has liked the Solstice since they came out and Supercharged one and set up water/meth injection back in February of 2006, long before the GXP. He has pictures of it on his website in the gallery. I have been a guinea pig for a lot of tunes and so has Go-N Def. We have tried all kinds of stuff, we were the guinea pigs forn the wastegate mod too. Now my wastegate is back to stock with the new tune. It is a little bit slower than with the mod, still VERY fast but I like it better and cornering is a bit easier and smoother. If I was going to 1/4 mile the car I might carnk the wastegate mod in and put in some octane booster but for everyday I like the wastgate stock with the HOT tune. My son bought the RMR GTO, with a very modded LS1 engine, Westers has done a job on that too! I hate that my sons car is faster than mine, but I can hang with a stock GTO now.

Been smoking all kinds of things from stop light to stop light ... never exceeding the legal speed limit of course ... and I do mean all kind of things ... it does blow then away when you tell that that you beat them to the the light with a 4 banger and a 2.0L at that ...

well since you brought up about blowing doors off of all kinds of things. last week when it was nice out on my way home from work, I notice a nice blacked out, mostly debadged GTO going my way. So yes of course, it was on. (Alrready at hiway speed) He got a good jump on me since his lane opened up to no traffic, I then switched to his lane and I BS you not, I not only caught him, I went past him at about 5 or so mph then he what he was going. Needless to say, I was WOW. I think he was too. Someone asked me are you sure he was going all out, well looking at the 3 digit speed we were at I would say yes. Not sure if it was the 5.7l model or 6.0l, like I said it was debadged. Anyway...bottom line * I LOVE THIS TUNE *

If it was a 5.7 it would not have hood scoops and both exhaust pipes are on the same side. With the tune we are in the same range as a stock 5.7 GTO they are about 317 at the rear wheels and we have a nice weight advantage. The 6.0 GTO stock is possible but they are about 350 at the wheels, the one sitting in front of my house is a 5.7 it's not stock 418 at the wheels AND THAT SUCKS! It's my sons car, and he is not supposed to have a faster car than me.

He is very active on the GTO forum and is doing a post about who got beat by a Solstice. That cracks me up.

Tell him it is was on I97 going north, from Annapolis toward Glen Burnie. Only thing left badged on the car was the red Pontiac V on the center of the trunk. hehe. Anyway I was taken aback that I could catch him.
So lil Goat what mods are you getting next, since your missing the meet?

I will be in the shop for some much needed adjustments so I fit in the car better. Every 100 lbs you get rid of is worth 10 hp, easiest weight to get rid of is off the driver, already have light weight wheels and the racing seats will come after I can fit into them. ( Lyndon and I do have some tricks left up out sleeves but I'm not telling yet )
