My 2007 GXP is getting 20psi turbo readings will this harm the eng?
I have been told that the turbo should cut off around 18 psi.

The SOlstice GXP is designed to boost to 20 psi in stock form, this is not an issue.

Brentil's right...the turbocharger system in your car is very adaptable to changing weather and atmospheric conditions. I'd make a guess that the weather in your region has heated up as of late, so your engine is raising boost pressure to compensate for the lower air density.

It's a beautiful thing...previous turbo cars weren't so well endowed, and would just suffer in warm weather!

It shouldn't be an issue - Mine bumps 20psi all the time - now if I can just get it to hold 20psi all the time....
