I believe he does it, but it would not hurt to ask anyways. Mine is actually set at 7200 for the automatic. I believe lil goat's is set to 7000.

Yes 7000 is the norm for the HOT tune for the manual, it works really well. Not much power up there but it keeps you from hitting the rev limiter.

Hey Moose GXP,

Do you have the part number or detailed info on the ECM from GM Direct? I looked and found something for $279.00, but no specifics. Any info would be great as I will just buy a new ECM and send it to Lyndon for the tune. Thanks. Howster

As long as you have picked for the 2.0 liter, that is the ECM to order. $340 is the total after shipping is added

I am sending my ECM tomorrow, after that, first chance I get I will dyno it. Hopefully we will be able to see roughly what a difference an IC makes. Will I be getting the latest rev. or is that still in the testing phase?

You will get the latest rev. Don't forget to reset the wastegate to stock, it makes it a lot smoother with the tune. I think the IC will give you some HP but mostly torque gains.

Do you happen to remember how many threads the stock setting was?

I just set it in the middle, and it runs great. I think I may have lost a little HP right after I adjusted it but it feels like it is back to where it was now. I believe with the tune and the wastegate mod, the ECM pulls timing to prevent knock, I think when you back off the wastegate mod the ECM doesn't need to pull timing as much so you end up about the same, with less intervention from the ECM. I think the turbo may spool up a little slower since I backed the wastegate mod off, but it is barely noticable. I have plenty of low end torque to spare. It was raining today and I hit third a little to hard and started to get sideways, no big deal but to say the least there is plenty of torque.

back when I got the dejon IC i dyno'd before and after, and saw a bigger torque gain than HP, so it should still be the same.

I'm sending the ECM to Wester's today. I had the Dejon pipes installed yesterday. Anyone else notice the increased turbo noise after installing the pipes?

There's more noise? Hmmm...maybe I should buy these.

The sale is over! Westers's has gotten a huge response, and lot's of people have gotten a great deal. You can still beat the heck out of the website price by being a NASSOA member over $150 savings. Wester's does tunes for most cars and trucks besides the Solstice too. I know someone who just had him tune a Duramax and they are very happy.
