Okay, I'm glad it's not just me. My tracking says that it's in Calgary and that shipment was attempted on Monday, but the business was closed. The feeling I get from Lyndon is that this is probably not accurate and that our ECMs are still in customs. He confirmed late last night that mine still wasn't there...delivery guaranteed by monday.

I think this may mean we can file a claim to get refunded, but it may be more of a pain than the $51.50 refund is worth. I just want it to get there...today...even tomorrow so it can get back here soon.

Since I just ordered a new ECM...Could someone put together a post showing what to do or say for shipping to Wester's? Also, adding the proper ECM part number and install procedure as well. Thanks!

Actually I did an advisory on shipping, I can not tell you why but from experience, ship it Global Express and ship it on Monday, otherwise you get the business closed run around, If it hits Canadian customs on a weekend, it gets delayed. Makes no sense but this is what has worked for me. Lyndon will get it back to you FAST as soon as he gets it.

I'm heading down to Westers right now from Calgary. Too bad I couldn't take your ECMs down to Lyndon for you. Oh well.

I'm going for the updated tune. I got mine last year and he's made some significant changes. Not looking forward to the drive down there. It's rather flat and boring. The drive back will be a wee bit more entertaining with the updated tune!

Look at Lyndon's latest mod to his 08 and tell me what you think, I would love to see a picture.

Yeah, I read the whole thread and saw the initial 'ship on monday' part. But I also saw a post that said shipping on friday is not a problem as long as it's not a holiday weekend. As long as it gets there I guess it's not a big deal...other than I shipped it express and it's probably stuck in customs. Live and relearn.

Eileen (from Wester's) said the ship on Friday wasn't a problem, she is on the receiving end, she is never the problem. It's the Monday hungover Customs guys. I just had the exact same experience you did when I shipped on Friday. Went with Monday the second time and it went much better. I shipped regular Priority mail once and it took 2 weeks to get there.

Well, I just noticed a call from Alberta this morning on my cell phone. I gave Eileen a call back and she said my tuned ECM was already on its way back to me. I will have it tomorrow. I will be working from home anxiously awaiting the DHL man!

I knew about the advisory of shipping on Monday also. I just figured guarenteed meant guarenteed.

I also got a phone call from Eileen. I'm not sure if I will get it tomorrow or friday. Good to know they got it though

I don't know how anybody can "guarantee" a cross-border shipment...

It's literally called USPS Global Express Guaranteed and there is supposedly a refund if it's not there on time.

If mine went out, then yours is out too. I would expect it tomorrow. Will somebody be at your place in the morning? It looks like the DHL shipment is 'guaranteed' by 10:30 AM at the latest. Eileen said it's signature required.
