Hello i have a few question for this program
1. all the gear's have been shifted to 7000rpm??? with the western tune??
2. does it have a laungh control like the bsr tune has for the 1st gear??
3. this programm can take the max from the exhaust, downpipe and intake the bsr has not go to this stage yet. if we compare western with bsr without any modifications to the car hardware the western how much stronger it is??
1. Rev Limiter RPM has been set to 7000 - Not really necessary since power and torque drop off around 5500, just a convenience so you don't bang the limiter when shifting.
2. No launch control. Not capable on the Solstice. I don't have BSR but that is the first time I've heard mention of it with the BSR. The new HHR SS has Launch control.
3. Yes it takes advantage of mods to exhaust and intake. When browsing the forums, I found a bsr dyno where the HP increased from 219 to to 237 on a stock GXP, the Westers increased from 219 to 269 on a stock GXP.
as for the rev limiter i think that the car at least the first 3 gears must be shifted to 7000 rpm because not only will gain from the 900 more rpm but also the next gear when you shift will be to the area with more revs and will response and have better pull.
So one more question i have the intake from dejon and the downpipe and exhaust from the solo i use 100 octane petrol (i am from greece) i should expect a rwhp at about 280-290??

This is meant to be constructive and not critical, but I have to agree. You kinda have to weed your way through a minefield at NASSOA to figure out how to just join and then you find out you can pay by PayPal but you still have to send in the application form via snail mail (at least that's the way it appears on the site). Then when you go to order the Wester's tune, you have to send your ECM using a very specific shipping method or it could be delayed as much as a week... and you can't drive your car while it's gone because it has no ECM. You could buy a new ECM but you have to get it from the dealer and still ship it to Westers (the same specific shipping method), wait for it to get there, wait for him to tune it, and then wait for it to be shipped back. Then when you get it back, you have to do a security relearn (I guess you have to look that up) and/or a crank relearn.
My suggestion is for you guys to come together and simplify this whole process. When you go to the NASSOA web site, there should be a prominent "purchase membership" link right on the front page. You go there, pick your membership type, fill out the form online, do a secure credit card payment and you're done. In fact, one of the purchase options should be "Join NASSOA and order the Westers Tune". That way you can make one purchase and all is done. Lyndon should have some ECM's on hand or be able to buy them for you, so if you want the option where you get a second ECM with the tune installed, all you do is check that box on the purchase form, fill out a few more details about your car (needed for the tune) and Lyndon can take an ECM from his own stock or have one shipped via fast shipping directly to him (cuts out the customer having to be the middle man here). And when the package arrives, have it arrive with instructions on exactly what needs to be done (security relearn and the process to use a DashHawk to do the crank relearn if people have access to a DashHawk, etc.)
I bet you both (NASSOA and Westers) would get OODLES more orders this way! You gotta make it simple for people. I'm an online merchant myself and if you put people through the ringer making them join a group to get a discount, then log back on to look up addresses, go to dealers to buy ECM's, pack up stuff, send it to Canada, wait 2 weeks, and then get something back, you'll lose customers. You might not lose me because I put a high priority on power, but I bet you lose a lot of people that way. You'd be surprised how just very subtle changes to your order page will turn people away. Some people like me are fanatics for power, but you've got to cater to people who are on the fence and just don't put that high a priority on it. You'll lose them: they'll fall off on the other side of the fence and just say, "this rigamarole just isn't worth it. My car's fast enough."

I agree completely. That's why I still haven't done it. Give me all the information in one localized area (make it simple). Some of us don't have the time or patience to go shopping around for all the information and whatnot.

Yell all you want. Just gives me more reason to ignore you.
You can purchase the tune through Dejon Powerhouse now.
I think the biggest headache is for people to join the club , prior to getting the tune. Paying via Paypal is great, but then you have to submit another document to get membership and that is the process that is turning away some potential members IMHO. If they could get a little better system (maybe an electronic verification) then I bet their membership would increase by about 25%. JM2C
I have no dog in this fight, but that is what I am seeing in many of the posts.

I agree, the NASSOA membership was pain staking waiting for AR to receive and process the snail mail and then waiting for the membership # which I still thing is a PITA to remember when logging into the web site. In a "gotta have it now" world, that doesn't work.
