This is a thread for people who have gotten the Westers GXP tune to report there results. After you drive the tune a while or even just after you get it write up a review please. This is just a results thread, questions should be on the other Westers thread.
OK my results, YEEEEEE HA! I love the tune, I can spin not chirp my tires in 3 gears, and my only complaint is I am driving way to fast because it is just way to much fun. Car feels like a V-8 I have over 300 ft lbs of torque from 3200 to about 5200 rpm, and still have over 250 rwhp at 6000 rpm. The 7000 rpm redline is great when in the twisties and you want to give it just that little bit more before you have to shift.
Remember just results please!

Sorry can't post results out busy burning fossil fuel ...
I can tell you that this tune really unlocks the car and it is pretty close to STUPID FAST right now. I find that I get the low traction light coming out of first into second and out of second into third quite often.
OK time to burn some more rubber and fossil fuel

This tune has a serious problem, it is wearing my tires down too fast. Holy crap, it is like getting a new car again, wait, it's even better. I have to be more gentle with the gas as to not spin the tires. The traction control light flashes more now "Low Traction" This is the mod to have.

It took me about a month of having the tune before I tried it without traction control, I was on my way to work, I almost had to turn around and go home and change my shorts! I pulled out from a stop sign and turned right and gave it a little gas I was going down the road sideways screaming like a little girl! It was GREAT! My gas millage hasn't even changed much.

Just installed the ECM with Westers tune and I think it is great. The increase in power is very noticeable throughout the entire rpm range. 3rd gear feels like it just wants to bust loose. Throttle response is terrific. I re-gapped my spark plugs to .025 so maybe it's the combination of the two. Idle has improved. This tune is accompanied by a Dejon IC, full bore IC pipes, Fugita CAI (the stock BOV sounds great), Dejon's spring, Magnaflow exhaust (stock cat). I haven't driven it long enough to see gas mileage improvement. The boost is reading up to 23. The sound coming from the exhaust is deeper and sounds rather mean.
I sent my original ECM into Wester. I didn't have to do that security procedure. I just plugged the ECM in and within two attempts to start it fired right up.
The peppiness is what you notice when just driving casually. But, when you get on it hard, it just keeps pulling.
I can feel the increase in power, although I havn't floored it or anything. Us auto drivers dont spin the tires as often, although for some reason she likes to chirp when i'm turning right from a stop (more often on the right???)
With the waste gate adjustment, pre-tune, my psi was hitting 18.
After the tune I was hitting 23 but got a knocking sound from the engine. After driving for about 50 miles the knocking sound went away. I adjusted the waste gate back to stock anyway though. I hit 22 psi yesterday with the WG at stock, so I dont think it's limited at all.
I've been playing with air intakes recently, trying to decide to use my stock or Dejon one. All in all though I'm pretty happy with the tune.
My gas milage has gone up 2 points. Normally mine is pretty low because I do a lot of stop and go driving, and I like to go fast. Even with all of the crazy stuf I do though it's still 20-ish.
For some reason I just can't bring myself to floor it though ,,,, gotta get over that problem.

Ok I got my tune done from Lyndon today. Only took a few minutes and he says go take it for a test run. I just about crapped my pants. I was expecting more power but got more than I was expecting. I have to be careful when I step on it now as I am not used to this extra power. I am so very happy with this tune. BTW my boost when from 100kpa max to 160kpa (It shows metric)

Ok, now I really have to get down there for a software upgrade! I have the Westers tune from last year and the best I get is 125 kpa. Leather, I should have asked you to take my ECM down with you!
Well, it's only a 2 hour drive from Calgary. I guess I could swing by sometime this week. That is, if we don't have any more freak snow storms like we just had Thursday!

Yea Brendan I saw it on the news you guys got almost a foot of snow. I was traveling South toward Drumheller on Thursday and hit very little snow. You will be happy with the new tune, let me know what you think after you get it.

I got Lucy's back this week. Hoping to put it in tonight. It's a new ECM, never been in the car, so there is some learning to be done. I got a Chevy tech that's going to do the crankshaft learn this upcoming week. LadyT can't wait to try it!

MAN - OH - MAN ! Just Mike downloaded the Tune on my "Kate" this past Saturday at DeepBlueGXP's Mod Meet. I thought that someone had dropped an LS2 in when I wasn't looking ! The ride home from MD to PA Saturday afternoon was a pure blast. Punching it in any gear and running away and hiding from the other cars was the best !
This thing is scary fast now. It actually toned down my SOLO RCD exhaust note . The car actually runs smoother , and I have not actually wrung it out in all gears yet , as I have not totally replaced all of my hose clamps with T-Bolt Clamps.
Lil Goat was right , though , I SHOULD have brought an extra pair of shorts for the ride home !
Got ECM back last Monday. Popped it in and fired it up. Initial idle a little rough but settled down after a few minutes. Checked all clamps, T-bolt clamps and Dejon IC haven't shown up yet. Other mods include ED Intercooler Pipes with HKS BOV, Fujita air intake and 3'' Magnaflow. Never thrown any codes. Living on a small island there's no place to really open her up, but from the little that I could do - HOLY CRAP! Puts you hard back in the seat and keeps you there. Exhaust does sound different, deeper.
Dejon IC arrived on Thursday and I installed it on Friday. Another little run - I'M LIKIN IT!!
Boost flies way past the 100 I used to get with it stock. Couldn't catch the top number, too busy with eyes on road and other traffic. THIS IS HOW IT WAS MEANT TO BE
Thanks to Westers for the tune and to lilgoat for spreading the word.
Yes I forgot to mention I also though the exhaust sounded deeper. I am still not used to this tune the car seems to want to launch everytime I step on the pedal. I am now trying to use higher gears sooner to try not to accelerate to quickly. What a feeling to have so much power....feels like a street legal race car

Just one word: OOOHHHLUCY!
Put her sideways twice. 0-100? FAST! 22-23 lbs boost. Didn't break 6,100 rpm. Didn't like that. Needs stickier tires! Do they make 15 or 16" wheels for these things? Wrinkle walls?
