Well, I really only have a few miles on it so far but I am very impressed with what I see. I think it's VERY driveable as a DD as it doesn't really get too nuts until you get on it. But...when you do...it does kick you right up to 21..22...sometimes 23 PSI boost (mid 70's today) and throws you back. I can swear the rear end pulls down now like my goat did. Up to speed very quick. This is the way this car should have been from the start.
0-60 in two shifts....I love it.
Previously i felt like I was struggleing to get to 16-18..sometimes 19 psi. The oomph wasn't there with the stock tune. Now it's immediate power at your desire.
Is it faster than my LS1 goat? Probably, but with me being stock otherwise the car is very quiet except for the whine of the turbo. With the GTO you'd hear the exhaust and V8 screaming. This is obviously a different beast...new to me...I like it!!
Sorry to ramble, I will have a more coherent review when I have more miles under my belt.

I've driven mine with the tune a few times now. I've had it for a couple weeks, but only driven it lately. I definitely feel the power, very nice when hitting the gas while cruising but I can't seem to get a good launch. I also smell something that kind of smells like the clutch or brakes, but not as strong. Has anyone else noticed this. I sometimes smell it even when I haven't been driving it hard. My car only has about 8k miles on it. Surely the clutch couldn't be bad already. The gas mileage even seems to have improved when driving casually.

I smelled that once today while checking it out. I thought it sorta smelled like I was a bit too hard on the clutch, but it didn't quite smell exactly like that either. It didn't stick around long and It didn't smell after I parked it.

My SOLO RCD exhaust DEFINITELY sounds louder with this tune. I'm not sure my wife is going to like that though

I got my ECU back from Wester's on Friday. I installed it into the car. Reconnected the battery. I don't know if this is necessary, but I turn the key on, off, on off, and then started right up. I only had to reset the clock.
I live on a dirt road so it takes me about 10 minutes of slow speed to get out on a road where I can open it up.
Mad boost, Insane power, totally beyond my wildest expectations. Anybody getting this tune will not be sorry....
I am getting 23psi of boost. WHOO HOO
From Fasttimes at Ridgemont High
music playing, Got this strange fasination flowing through my veins.
"You're going to wreck my brother's car"
No I'm not, Listen, I'll drive, you navigate. Where is this party?
"Here, here, ahhhhhh"
CRASH
"My brother's gonna Ship, he's gonna kill you he's gonna kill me, he's gonna ship"
Make up your mind Dude, is he gonna ship or is he gonna kill us.
"First, he's gonna ship, then he's gonna us"
JUST be glad I had fast reflexes....

I agree, the Westers Hot tune is really awesome. UNFORTUNATELY!!!!
And I only say that in jest because of the CRAPPY CRAPPY weather we're having here now in Calgary. I only had a chance to drive my car for 1 day after I got the updated tune before the snow started coming back with a vengeance. Now it's going to be like this pretty much until the beginning of May. Ugh!!!! Now that I have the updated tune, I want to drive my car even more than ever.
At least I can still look at it in the garage.
