Winter Storage Tire Pressure

Quick question. This is the first time I will have to store a car for the winter. I am not using jacks or dolly's and I see everyone seems it is best for the tires to have more air when stored.

How much air? Will I be safe at 35 psi or are we talking like 40 or 45? Thanks for the info.

I've only upped mine a few PSI every winter... so 35 should be just fine. You just want to protect the sidewalls from being crushed when the temperature drops (and so does the PSI in the tire). If you see it's low in the winter, put some more air in there...

Sure, so when you put it back down all of the pitting that took place over the winter on the components that shouldn't be exposed can rip up all of your seals causing all of your shocks to leak. All newer tires are built to handle winter storage. Leave it down, add a few psi. you'll be fine.
