Well, we are finally set-up as supporting tuners. My partner Todd did a great job of building these headers completely by hand. These are pictures of the first set so please excuse the imperfections in the flange edge and shape of the ports. These headers bolt directly to the stock catalytic converter in the stock location, have the O2 sensor bung and the EGR. We are hoping to qualify for a C.A.R.B. certification as the headers are emissions compliant.
The headers are made of 3/8" flanges and 14 gage mild steel tubing with CHROMEX ceramic coating inside and out. The primaries on this first set are 1 5/8" but 1 1/2" will also be available.
I will set the retail price by Monday as soon as I get the quote on the flanges from Laser Cutters.
In the pictures you can also see the prototype stainless engine cover Todd made. It has the decorative finish we do on table tops through our other business. Mirror polishing, anodizing and powder coating will also be available as will some type of custom graphic, etc.
You may also notice the stock fuse box cover is now chrome. Just something else we do. Look for pictures of the chrome grills in another post.
Thanks so very much for _all_ of your pictures. Your work looks good, and (if and when I ever get a Solstice ) I will be interested in talking with you about some of your products.
Now that I've spread the honey out... Can you post some pictures taken at a greater distance from your subject? I chave a bit of trouble seeing the greater context, particularly with the chrome grill inserts, but in the engine photos as well.
Thanks!

Not to nitpick, but how did you pull that off? Ecotec motors have no EGR. They meet NLEV requirements without it. Maybe that isn't true for the 2.4L VVT ecotec

I can answer this, There is an EGR pathway casted into the stock manifold, this is why we stayed with having one, we wanted to make sure this will meet any and all emission requirements that the stock manifold does for C.A.R.B. certification.
From the picture of the headers they looked like 4,1 2,3 is this correct, also I thought you like long type headers, a bit confuse.

Probably a good idea. Is the EGR blocked off from the factory with no valve, as it is on other Ecotec engines?

If I understand your question to firing order, the firing order does not matter with this style of header as it does on a 4 into 2 into 1 header. These (4) primaries all go into the same collector at once.
We will be doing a long tuber header next, we just wanted to get this one done first, as there are those that will not want to worry about being emission compliant, but still be wanting to get a gain in performance.

Thanks,
I will wait for the long tube headers, hope is soon.

Okay, saving my penies now, I can see this is going to be an expensive car. One month to one vendor, the next to the second, the next to the third, and repeat.
