Hey everyone
It's time for another West coast Solstice meet!!! So, we've decided to role out a few new products and show off some new photos of products that are coming into production. We hope to see a lot of you guys at the Solstice meet in Ventura, CA. As always we will have most of our products on our car. Also, we are giving away a FREE KS1 and other goodies at the meet. But for those that can't make it follow these threads

Today we start with our our light A/X wheels, custom, 1-piece, cast wheels are 18x8 with a 5x110 bolt pattern and a +45mm offset. This wheel will give your Solstice a much more aggressive stance with it's diamond cut deep dish lip. Built specifically for us by RAYs to an exceptionally high standard.

Stock Pontiac Wheel weight = 23.5 lbs.

KappaSphere A/X Wheel weight = 21.8 lbs.

Neil

Neil,
Those rims cry out for flat black spokes with the aluminum outer rim. Do you see that as an option in the future?

Is it just me or do those wheels make the tires look a lot thicker? Maybe its just the angle of the picture.

Yes, they are 19"x8.5. I am hoping mid to late March... hopefully sooner. As far as price let me get back to you guys on that.

Yes, please do!

A couple of questions (and sub-questions) on the picture you posted with these fine wheels:
- What is the tire size that fits those 19" rims? Or better, what is the tire size shown in the pic? As a side note, I think the Sol could use a tat wider tires than what comes as stock. What do you think? Could those fine wheels accommodate wider tires? Any recommendation on wider track tire sizes that would fit nicely on this wheel?
- Does the Sol depicted have the standard springs and shocks or is it lowered?

Thanx Neil

One our 19" wheels we put a 245/40 Bridgestone S03 tire. The reason we chose this tire is because it matched the overall diameter of the stock tire (26.6")... meaning the height of the tire didn't change by going to a 19" wheel. The reason for this is because of the bump out in the rear wheel weld. You could go to a hider tire but I would keep the side wall to a 40... example 255/40/19, just make sure the overall diameter stay somewhat the same. You can find more info about these tire here:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.j...+Pole+Position

Also the our Solstice in the photo is lowered with our Eibach springs.
