It is currently in the Carb Pending phase. Will let you guys know as soon as we get Carb legal stickers. And will be sending them out to our customers who have already bought our intakes.

Thanks. Looks like very nice workmanship. Now I just need to whisper into my wife's ear how much I'd like one for my Birthday

The best part is the throttle response improvement along with the sound!

I think it would make a fine birthday gift....

I think I will give this thread a BUMP, since there is so much CAI talk going on right now.

[quote=The Stig]Hey guys
Thanks for all the enthusiastic input on the first thread. We love bringing you guys products that are appreciated. Today's topic is a cold air intake. Fujita Air has properly engineered our cold air intake to provide maximum airflow while also providing excellent filtration with a sporty intake note and no droning.

Our intake will be CARB legal. Initial testing of our prototype shows an increase in power ? especially mid-range for improved drivability.

The sound is intoxicating especially when you put your foot in it. And also combined with the sport exhaust the car sounds like a proper sports car. These are photo of our finished prototype... the final production piece will look identical. Of course we will be dynoing a few production pieces to double check hp and torque. Stay tuned. Let us know what you guys think.

Thanks
Neil

Have I missed the dyno results/information?

If you go to Kappasphere's website, the dyno results are now posted there. Just go to the CAI page, and there are some links to the dyno charts.

I just installed my CAI from Kappasphere today. The ABS lines do add a challenge getting to one of the screws, but nothing a good extension doesn't overcome.
One thing I noted: the filter rests against the panel below it, unless you hold it up when tightening the clamp on the 90 degree elbow. So, which is better - should I let it rest, or adjust it so it is suspended between the hood and panel?
