Clear Image Automotive is happy to be the exclusive source for custom tuning with the convenience of a hand held programmer. We have been working with Trifecta Performance and now have a tune for the 2.4 liter Ecotec. You do NOT have to pull your computer and send it in for programming. This means NO down-time while you wait for your computer to come back. No risk of the shipping company losing your computer and no trips to the dealership for any reflash resulting from the program being written.

Tuning being offered via the "GT Tuner" was developed on my 2006 2.4 liter Solstice with manual transmission. The cost of the tuning is $395.00 plus $25.00 round trip shipping for the "GT Tuner".

As an introductory special, we are offering the tuning for the first 10 customers for $350.00 delivered.

After reviewing the web-brochure, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Here's how the program works:

Thanks again.

You would think that they would make a tuner that you would keep and therefor be able to modify it any time you would like and download updates like the Superchips Tuner. I can send my ECM to the other tuners and get it back in a total of 72hours or less.

PCMFORLESS I can drive to, so what's the advantage for your tune....?

The GT Tuner simply carries the program written for each customer. It does not allow changes to the program. Each customer would provide modifications to their car/engine before the program is written.

As I described above, the biggest advantage is not having to pull your ECM and send it to anyone. This means you can continue driving your car, instead of waiting 72 hours or more depending on what state you live in, for the ECM to come back. Though shipping these days is very easy and reliable, packages do go missing from time to time. If this were the case with your ECM, you would not be driving your car until you purchased a new ECM. There is no chance of this happening with the GT Tuner. Even if it is lost during shipping, the customers ECM is not involved. Living so close to PCMFORLESS is a definite advantage. Bryan Herter, the owner, is a friend of mine and a great person as are all of the guys there. However, not everyone has the luxury of living close enough to a custom tuner to drive to.

As far keeping the hardware, right now the hardware being used is very expensive. Trifecta is considering other options but right now the GT Tuner is simply a means of transporting the tune without pulling the ECM. All factory up-dates are included as are trouble code clearing at the time of the programming.

I hope this answers your questions.
Thanks for your interest and comments.

That was the sole purpose behind the development of the "GT Tuner". To offer a more convenient method of tuning cars without the risk of loss/damage and the down-time for transit.

Thanks again.
