HELP: Water stains on cloth seats........

Hello folks.

I haven't had my '06 Solstice that long, and I've already done some damage.......

First, and less than a week after I purchased her, I scratched the hell out of the underside of the front bumper on - you guessed it - a curb. I know I'll have to bite the bullet and get these scratches repaired by a professional, but it will have to wait for now.

Last Saturday, the weather here was absolutely wonderful. Needless to say, I dropped the top on my new baby....... Unfortunately, I didn't close the latch ALL THE WAY when I put the top back up that night.

Naturally, it rained buckets the next day.

Thankfully, the only stains I have noticed so far, have occured in the cloth seats. Is there anything anyone recommends for their removal?

Thank y'all for any advice and hearing my confessions.

You're in Waldorf right?

If your around this weekend, you could coordinate to bring it over to Deepblugxp's house. I'll be over there sometime. Or you could bring it by my place in Indian Head.

I'd be happy to take a look at it for you...

You're right - I do live in Waldorf. In fact, I intended to make the last mod meet, but ultimately had to change plans the night before the event.

I'd really appreciate it, if you could take a look. What time/day this weekend, is best for you?

Thanks for the advice!

I had cloth seats in my NA Solstice and found that when ever I cleaned spots off the seats--which happened with the littlest drops, that I had to make sure the cleaning stopped at the seams or else I would just leave a bigger spot.

I had the same issue in my NA. I broke out the wife's little green steam machine and clean the entire seat.
