In the back I'm not sure how far to go either, although it does seem to have much more room. I'd love to rock some 305's back there, really get some meaty rubber back there.

There is actually more room in the front than the rear. we can run an 18x11" rim with the 315 in front and it fits pretty well. In the rear we run the same wheel and tire but have to use a large spacer to clear the frame.

i would guess a 295 on the right size wheel could fit the rear pretty well, maybe a 305.

the 315 has been punching our rear fenders a bit on some auto-x courses.

Very interesting. Yeah, i figured spacers would be needed for either the front or back. Is your car lowered from stock by any chance? I've got about a 1.5 - 2.0'' drop in height and the stock tires seemed tucked pretty well as it is.

yeah, my car is dropped quite a bit from stock, that's one of the reasons the tire hits the rear fenders sometimes. Usually sever elelvation changes under cornering loads, rough lots that are level i don't have much of a problem (just a little rub).

Big project this winter is rear fender flares.

Yep you got the right guy. It's always difficult to catch people when running in different heats at events. We were also a little busy adjusting the car to stay ahead of the Solstice and a rejuvenated David Lehman!

Bart did come over during Heat 3 to talk to me for a bit... him and I have talked via e-mail's / PM's for a little while now.

I'm hoping to make at least one of the Chicago events this year just to see how I do with some real competition... you plan on running AS at all or are you sticking in ASP this year?

We might need to talk about the Koni's too still... not sure what I'm going to do for National's at this point yet.

Which class I run in depends if my car sells or not... if it does then it'll be a mad dash to prep a new car to get some seat time. I'll continue to run in AS until that happens so I might see you in Chicago...
