had a great time today took solly to the nashville superspeedway for solo2 racing son of a gun there was mike48 . he was driving his blue solstice. he was being coached by a top notch miata driver from charlotte. and then WE went racing... well ,err i was really the passenger and mike was the driver. he had slicks on. holy crap. that car handles and has GREAT brakes. i remember us hurtling toward the chain link fence thiniknig oh oh no way. booom he puts those binders on and my tummy tightened up (as well as other paarts of me). ill tell you mike is doing great and with just a few more runs hell be a terror. anyway great afternoon. not only is mike a nice guy but the solstice is a serious great sleeper that i predict will surprise and kick some butts!

Hey- sorry I scared you, and I have to compliment you on being brave enough to ride with a rookie like me! I had a great time, I always do in the Solstice, but Sunday wasn't my best day- "my game was definitely off". I wasn't planning on going, but the racing bug has bitten, and I talked myself in to going at the last minute after a really long day Saturday, so the result wasn't as good as I'd like. I don't recover as well as I did when I was 20 something! I hope I can give you a ride again, but next time I won't scare you- "smooth is fast"

mike you were great! it was a blast. i was very impressed by the cornering capabilities and huge braking ability! very cool. i mean that cornering is amazing. good job mike
