need information for Road Racer

Help

I am preparing a Solstice turbo for road racing In the Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship.

The closest US class is World Challenge.

I am new to the Solstice but not to Road Racing.

The car started as a N/A 2007 and has a 2.0 turbo instaled and running by Georgian Bay Motorsport of the KONI chalenge Colbalts.

Suspension
I have FE3 suspension and upgraded bushings but the car sits too high and considering installing Z0K springs. The series has a 3.5 inch ride height rule.
Another option would be KW 3 coil over. The car is legal for KONI and their shocks are not available and I cant invest in Pensks just for one or two races.

Engine.
Stock 2.0 Turbo with spec clutch and flywheel. Factory engine wiring harness for Turbo. GM racing flash, very brutal, will check to see if it is readable with HP tuner. I will be on site tomorrow to work on tune.

The car has a GM 3 inch exhaust and downpipe with no cat but two o2 sensors to run.

Looking at turbo pipes from MBRP(close) or DEJON for intake pipe.
Any help or coments would be greatly apreciated. I have to check to see if there is a 2Bar or 3Bar sensor in the car.

Body
we are building splitter and adding APR 300 wing. The car has the Five Star SCCA carbon hard top.

The Three Rivers race track is a street track with bumps and ninty degree turns a real street fighter track. Any help with suspension settings, ride heights, Rake and bar ballance etc. would be appreciated. The series races on Toyo 888's mounted on 17X9 wheels.

My cell number is 514 244 7405 and e-mail prints.posters@gmail.com

as a new poster I can not post pictures, pictures to follow

GM Tech Books Parts Catalog

Gives a general overview of the mods needed to be competitive in SCCA. The book is not for beginners - they assume you know how to do the stuff, they just tell you what needs doing.

It works in practice, but does it work in theory?

that book is mostly about the rollcage as T2 is essentially a stock class with modified cals for turbo cars. The Z0K Package part #'s have been listed on here before, and thats probably your best bet for the money. It shouldn't violate the ride height limit rule, that i know of, as it's designed to be a streetable package.

That being said, the shocks aren't adjustable and are perhaps a little too soft for true road racing, especially with slicks.
