Nuther good Kappa weekend.
This past weekend Alan Dahl finished second at the Packwood Prosolo. Congrats again Alan!
We took the Kanary to a 2 day cross state SCCA regional rivalry (S Carolina vs Cent. Carolina region) event at the famous Michelin Proving Grounds "Black Lake", a huge 1400x400' slab of smooth, obstruction free, grippy asphalt. 3 runs each day, 60 sec course reversed on Sunday + fun runs each day. Weather was outstanding for SC in July: sunny mid 80s both days.
Courses were near national caliber with a feature seldom seen, a 300' diameter 3rd gear 180* turn around mid course that really tested the car's setup, grip, and the driver's cajones!
210 drivers turned out for the event.
9 drivers in AS open. I finished 1st, Donna 2nd in the KK, a Sky Redline was 3rd.
