I have a couple of questions:
Can you do the ECM Tuning from GTPprix?.
Can you cap the resonator but leave it inplace and still be legal?.
I know the car will do 60, 61 in 2nd gear.
Good luck

I cannot do the ECM.
I will be doing a rear muffler replacement.
What resonator? I can't do anything to the intake less filter replacement in stock location.
With the tires that I am going to run, car should go high 57mph due to smaller circumference.

fastmike - are you going to Peru this weekend? If so, I'm looking forward to seeing how you do.

I am in Seattle so Peru is a little far for me.
I figure the car is going to need some setup time before hitting the "big" events.
Dasto will be there with his Solstice.

I had the chance to chat a bit with dasto this weekend at a CenDiv series event in Cincy. Unfortunately, my class ran in the same heat as C-Stock, so I didn't have the opportunity to really watch his runs. He's learning his Solstice - what it needs and what different tweaks do. He'll be in Peru.

dasto - it was a pleasure to talk with you; good luck in Peru (I'm staying home this weekend).

The stock resonator that is connected to the stock intake, inside the engine bay.

Z0K's in Peru

I checked the confirmed list of entrants for the Peru event and it looks like there will be 2 Z0K's along with Dasto's Sol competing just in CS. I'm going to be there to see just how well the Z0K will stack up against the competition.

fastmike is doing Stock grouping so the things he's mentioned he's doing are some of the only things you can do to the car. My primer thread above here as a sticky has a lot of good info on C-Stock.

The only thing permitted to the intake is swapping the filter element itself for another of the same size to fit in the stock location.

Darn it...I was hoping to be the first ZOK at a big event.
That's ok though. The more the merrier!
Have fun at the tour. They are fun. Usually a big party on Saturday night.

It is actually one Z0K with 2 drivers. Should be interesting, there will be a couple of 2006 MX5s there also.

And if you check out the names of the two drivers entered in the Z0K for Peru, one is Dave Pearson, who is a past E-Stock national champion. Dave's been on a sabbatical from autocrossing for several years. It'll be fun to see what he can do.

dasto - it will be to your benefit to chat Dave up.

With DiSimo and Harvey in CS, the Solstice and the 06 MX-5 drivers should have a good benchmarks to judge their performance by.

Dasto - I'm looking forward to seeing how you guy stack up against the 99 Sports. I'm hoping it's close so I'll feel good with the GXP next year.
