How much do the SSR's weigh? I wish I could be out at Peru this weekend, I was supposed to be driving my friend's STS Civic since I didn't have time to transport my Miata up there but he scrubbed so no Peru for me this year.

Do you have to order them directly from SSR, because they're not on tirerack.com yet as of yesterday?

The first production batch is being painted this week. Tire Rack estimates that they will arrive at the end of June or first of July.

If you call in to the Tire Rack they should be able to look up the wheel and give you some info on them. They're probably just not on the site yet because they don't have any immediately available.

Thanks for all the info guys.

If you don't mind, what did the final price per wheel end up being?

One more thing off the checklist.
Got home at 2am after doing 2 fully stainless exhausts(cat backs) at www.chaserace.com
I picked the straight through Magnaflow and it is plenty quiet at all rpm/mph's with the top up and windows up.
You do know that the exhaust is not stock when you get on it with the windows down. Never did the top down thing(raining last night),
My buddy got his ZOK done with the www.burnsstainless.com super light muffler.
His whole system(stock cut near muffler entrance)was 7lbs and mine came out to 11lbs.
Stock part that was cut off was 21lbs.
Dyno tests will be upcoming in the next few weeks along with putting the stock muffler back on for comparisons.
Doug uses TIG welding and it is all stainless so quality is not an issue.
He is a meticulous welder.
Will get some pics up.
Gotta admit that my buddies is TRICK and SUPERLIGHT but a hair too much sound for a daily driver for me.
Off to the alignment shop today and race this weekend.

If you get a chance could you take some pictures of the exhaust system I am interested to see what it looks like. Thank FM. I am very interested to see how you run this weekend and your analysis of how the car ran.

I called and it looks like they are running $489 a wheel. I know those will be first on my list of mods once the Z0K gets here.

I'd love to see some pics and sound clips too. If it's not too loud I'd love to get a setup like this too for my car. Going to do my first official C-Stock run next month, no longer a novice now.

Looks like he is trying to get some sound clips up.

This guy used to rally Fiero's and really likes Pontiacs.

OH! We aligned both ZOK's using the special digital angle gauge.
Nice little tool.
We had to run the rear caster up to -4.5 on both cars to get the desired rear camber(-1.5). Passenger rears on both cars were the buggers. Couldn't get enough RR camber without running the caster up on that corner so we matched the driver's rear caster to match the passenger side. Taking away rear caster caused the camber to go down with it.
This is with us sitting in the cars, new lightweight exhausts on and low fuel.
You WILL screw up the rear caster without this tool if you are going for a drastic alignment change. The first couple of times, you might even screw up the caster WITH the tool.
LOL!
A little camber in the rear using the rearmost adjuster only does not mess with caster much. Touch the rear suspension adjuster that is most forward and caster goes wacky quickly.

Once you understand what it is doing, you can quickly set your desired settings.

Front turned out nice. I chose to start at -2.0 with factory caster.

We'll see what happens. ADahl will be there on Sunday with his NC MX5 and will have his D/A dampers on all 4 corners finally and they will be Stock class legal.(what a hassle that was!).

Well..got Alan's NC working well.
Not soon enough though.
I won PAX on my first run ever in the car!
Then it rained on everyone.
Dryed up for afternoon but I loaded up after the big dent in behind the door from a co-driver cone.
I am happy though.
Cool car.
Better car than I am a driver. For now anyways.

Did some analyzing of data from my DL1.
Doesn't appear that the 2-3 shift causes a problem.
One thing you don't want to do is sit on the revlimiter. The car will actually pull neg G's and slow down.
My 1-2 shift was way late(.2 of a second) and it hurt me.
No more of that!
Tach seems to be damped and is behind what is really happening with the motor.
