FM. It will be interesting to hear the comments after you and Dahl go head to head.
Alan and I have been working on his car.
He is not "thrilled" to say the least..
Rumor of a MX5 "clubsport" type car for 07.
Not much info out yet but if they do build the correct one, it is going to be a good race.
I love a good race. It makes me drive better.

Hmm. I might be ordering a new car sooner than I thought if there is a 2007 MX5 Club Sport, as long as it has stiffer springs and bigger sways and maybe revalvable Bilsteins if that isn't asking too much. If not I will just be getting a ZOK Solstice next year sometime.
I don't know how/if the MX5 Clubsport is a reality but I tell you what, that Club Sport Sol is VERY impressive even with the stock tires/alignment.

What I would like to have a comment if someone could do it, is the installation of the GM Sports Suspension on a stock Solstice and then compare it to a ZOK.
My understanding is the GM Sport Suspension springs are stiffer than the ZOK (FE3) and the sway bars are either the same or slightly larger.

The black ZOK impressed a multitime National solo/pro solo event winning driver enough that he said that, bar none, The ZOK was the best balanced bone stock car that he has ever driven. OH! He is a EVO instructor too so he gets to run LOTS AND LOTS of cars.
I gotta agree with him at this point.
Alignment/710's and some toe adjustments should make this thing a G FORCE MONSTER!
WOOHOO!

If you don't mind me asking who got the black ZOK?
Uh....I will have to ask that team if she/he want the word to get out.
Tonight, we took both cars to our exhaust guy at www.chaserace.com and are building 3 prototype exhaust systems for testing.
All are "straight through" type mufflers.
All mandrel bend etc.
Lightest and most expensive and likely to be most loud is the "Burns" muffler(2-3 lbs + piping). http://www.burnsstainless.com/Ultral...temuffler.html
One will have a Borla and one will have a Magnaflow on it.
All should dyno the same since perforated part is going to be the same on all but tone and db will likely be different.
Next Thursday is the installs.
If anyone is interested, he is likely to build more of these...

If you want to compare to the performance suspension package, you may be able to feel it by contacting "earnest" over on skyroadster.com - he had it installed before he picked up his SKY.
I don't know where he is, but he is among the first that I know of that got the package, and he has stated he absolutely loves it.

I read his posts but what I would like to know is how it compares to the ZOK FE3 suspension, is it the same, a bit better or a tad worse.

someone that buys the GM kit needs to take a front and a rear apart and have the spring rates measured, then do the same with the stock suspension when it's swapped out.
