Solstice Hardtop Z0K? [SSB Z0K Racing Solstice Pics]

Was at a Pontiac event in Indy, got there a bit early and saw this car sitting around. Was wondering if i could more info on it? The car was moved about 10 minutes later, and no one knew what i was talking about.

The car has a full cage, window netting, and some carbon parts on the dash. I didn't have time to get pics of the inside of the car, wish i had lol. This car was at the Indy speedway, so i assume they were testing some things on the F1 track?

Without a doubt, you can't open the trunk lid with the hard top in place.

Car looks great though.

Did they jack up the car? As if the wheel gap wasn't big already. That looks like the elusive Solstice with the Z71 package.

Why would you open the trunk? can't fit anything in there anyway.

I don't think they jacked it up any. It looks to me like the tires on there have shorter sidewalls (i.e. lower aspect ratio) than the stock rubber. Thus the wheelwell gap looks huge.

Thanks for the pics! New wallpaper for me!

Right away I notice Sparco racing seats and no airbags in the interior.

Perhaps I am wrong but I think the wheel gap may be more from the slicks than from jacking up the car - notice the very small sidewall! Yet the overall ground clearance seems the same.

Great Pics ZedYakuza - thanks for snapping them!

(looks like 2KWK4U and I were thinking the same thing!)

Don't usually pack for the weekend when you are racing.
