Out of six C-stock cars, my son took first place and I took second place at the local Solo II event yesterday! See link:

http://teamtac.org/archive/2006/Auto...C_1/Final.html

The car drove great, but I've still got a LOT to learn!!

Aspenrose,
Those numbers correspond to his lap times. The +1 means he hit a cone. The number in bold was his best time of the day.

Cool-pretty much what I figured they were, but the +1 threw me. (Coming from a drag racing perspective, and watching Indy cars my whole life)

Wonder what Edmunds would say about this. Maybe they were having too much fun with their cup holders!

Or those, apparently, necessary side pockets. Or easily reachable glovebox.

Some day I'll catch that bugger!!

The SCCA Stock classes permits very few changes:

http://www.sff.net/people/dburkhead/prepcompare.htm

Basically, you're limited to cosmetic changes, different shocks, stiffer anti-sway bar, & cat-back exhaust, but so far I havent' done any mod's. I do have a second set of stock rims with Falken Azenis 615s to run at the auto-x. They're working great.
