Let me revise what I said, since I forgot that Tire Rack has lowered their price on the SSRs. His 'offer" is a bit lower than the current pricing, but one can always offer whatever they want !!

Yeah, I tried to buy these but I wound up buying new from Tire Rack since the prices were so close. What can ya do?

"Fair price" is something to be decided between a buyer and a seller .... everything else is just opinion .... and you know what they say about them.
Other than that, what I can say is that I bought the previous set of SSR's and A6's that Eric had for sale. The communication was good, the items were as described and the packaging and labeling was excellent. I would not hesitate to buy from Eric again.

Thanks for the kind words, have fun with those sticky Hoosier's. The second set of SSR's are sold now also.
thanks, eric, for saving me some money
.. and the hassle of scrubbing the paint off the inside of the wheel so they don't get stuck on the hub the first time like the other new set i bought from tirerack did!!
Seeing as I live close enough to pick them up without shipping, and adding shipping to his price.. well, I'm better off with new.
I know I've asked this before.. but checking again. Any problems mounting the 295 A6's on the 18x8 SSR's? With the price difference and the 1 lb. weight advantage of the SSR's over the O.Z.'s seems worth it if the A6's mount fine. If the A6's need / should have the extra inch... well, it might be worth giving them the room they want on the wheel.
They're on closeout now for $189. Just wish they weren't all black.

That was the reason I asked my question.
For the $240 savings plus the 1 lb. per wheel.. I'm wondering if squeezing the 295 wide A6's on there is worth it... or if they will be much happier on the 9" wide O.Z. Racing.
295 A6's mount up fine on SSR 18x8's on a GXP Z0K w/ lots of camber front/rear. they'd probably be happier (wider) on an 18x9, but i'm not sure about clearance/fender rubbing if you haven't rolled 'em.
if i were you, i'd save the cash now and get the SSR's. then get 18x11's and mount up some 315 rubber when you can afford to dive into a real non-stock build

Thanks.. and not that it matters, but it's not the $$ side of things that is holding me back.. it's the fender's, wheel stud changes, wheel spacers, etc.
I still enjoy tossing on the Chrome stock wheels, polishing up the car, and taking the ladies for a nice drive up and down the lakeshore.
My car is still going to be a daily driver, and I have to make some compromises when it comes to Solo due to that. 315's is one of those compromises (for now) unfortunately.
I'm thinking a drive to South Bend is in order now...
