Just a quick little note... I might edit this once the results on are the groups website.
Anyway... some of you are aware of my fitment issues with the SSR's which I had mounted the Bridgestone RE-01R's on which RMR was selling. Anyway, since I ended up returning the SSR's I mounted the RE-01R's on a spare set of Sky wheels that I had.

A-Stock: 1st place (nothing new, not a lot of competition in this area... 4 cars in class usually)
FTD for a stock car
6th in PAX (57 entries) <--I believe I'm the only non R compound car in the top 10

This was a major milestone for me... it moved me right up to the top of the PAX standings instead of the 25 - 30% mark I had been floating in. When I checked the standings, and talked to drivers... everyone finished about where they usually do, except for me. I picked up a good 2 - 2.5 seconds from the pack I'm usually placed around in raw times.
The tires helped tremendously... Thankfully we had a test and tune day before the event, so I used that (28 runs) to get the new tires set up and pressures right. Alignment might need to change a bit with these tires compared to the stock F1's... but the car handled beautifully... wow, what a difference.
Can't wait to the Evo school in two weeks, and a two day event at Peru, IN the following weekend. That's going to be key to see if I just had a good day, or if I'm finally getting the car dialed in.
