Rear wheel drive takes a bit of getting used to for sure. HOpe you all can find the right tire for the job all around. These vehicles are just too cool. Can't wait to see one.

The SSR is on RS-A's...

Yes, in general road here have a high gravel content which lends more grip when wet. That is, except where they patch with smoother asphault, then watch out!

No leave the clutch engaged, that way the rear wheels will drag teh car back in line as the engine holds them back.

No, SM I have not but my car is getting the F1's GS-D3 in the next few days, I will post pictures once they are installed.
I will pick up Car and Driver and have a read, but I am pretty much committed to the F1's.
Thanks for the info.

Latin, after reading that article, you wold come to the same conclusion and STILL put the F1's on you car. They really did a fine all-'round job and they're MADE IN USA!!(I hope)

No you don't want to do that, any sudden changes will just make things worse. the key is gentle..... if you do it a few times you can judge by how far the tail slides out how much steering input to dial in, but unless it comes naturally to you you will need to practice to keep from oversteering causing a spin in the opposite direction...
sometimes just backing off the gas a little will bring things back in line, of course this only works well on rear wheel drives... front wheel drives area whole different matter...

Luckily it was before the school zone was active so there were no children or crossing guards around. When the school zone is active I drive much slower then I was that day around the corner because I have no desire to hit anyone, especially small children.
