Anyone seen or have pics of 22" on a Solstice??

Have any of you seen, possibly have pics of 22" rims on a Solstice?

I am considering upgrading from my 20"s which I like a lot to 22"s

Just curious...

Why? Looks?
Probably counterproductive as far as performance is concerned.

We've got two forum members in SoCal with 22's on their Sols. I met them at Cars & Coffee and they were at the HIN show last year. Forgot their forum names . Here is a link to some pics. He previously had some vids up, but I don't see 'em now.

22" rims at the dub show
Just crazy, imo... what if you hit a bump? I think this is much more practical:

What a terrible video. So many typos, driving stupid on the street, and couldn't even pull off a donut lol.

Lighten up! There is so much more that is cool about the video that you could have commented on. Oh, it's not a donut, it's a 180, which he executed very well. The tight circles were to demonstrate that there is no rubbing. Also, the street was secured. The video is from a forum member with a lot of street cred so I doubt he's needin' your approval.

When I first saw this post I said "22 inch rims? That is a bit much." But when I saw some of the pics that are in the link Bonefire put up, especially the one in the middle where it is driving...not too bad...I kind of like the look actually...looks kind of like the drawings/paintings of the concept Solstice. The bikinis don't hurt either.

Put these '20 XIX X05 wheels which come in chrome, Black or Black Machine Finished (BMF which is a black & Chrome as pictured on my car), I think these wheels make the car look more aggressive and wheels look bigger than they are with some nice low profile tires.

CHROME

BLACK

Black Machine Finished

see how they look on a SKY

Are these the wheels and tires you got from the young lady in TN about a year ago?

Someone just had a set of 22's for sale on the forum. Can not remember who but it was only a few weeks back. You may want to check for his post.

The driving didn't bother me, looked pretty controlled with no one else around. Not as bad as that stupid sound track, which at least you could turn off, or the constant script across the images just when you wanted to be able to see something, nor the fact that they stretched out maybe 90 secs. worth of footage to 4.5 minutes by repeating it. Result, boredom.

At least you got to see the wheels. Bling at the expense of ride comfort. Looks better on the Sol than it does on a local TBird though.

Here's two different cars with 22's

LOL. Disregard my repost. There were more photos of those car floating around.

Be prepared to be flamed on this site with 22's. One of these guys was trying to sell his set and he couldn't post without a flamewar.

It's a big wheel for this car.
