Hello ladies and gentlemen! We all know that there is a lack of wheel options for our cars. Gravana is trying our best to answer your requests for wheel options.

I need your feedback on our choice for a 5-spoke staggered wheel option. With the success of our mesh-style wheel, we decided to fast-track our 5-spoke wheel program. We have partnered with ROH Wheels to develop a 5-spoke wheel program in both Silver and Black finishes. ROH has a bold, yet classy 5-spoke wheel called a Drift-R, which we currently offer for the GTO, 350Z, Mercedes, BMW, Porsche and more.

This poll is to gauge how many people are serious and how many people are just kicking tires. If enough people are ready to buy the ROH Drift-R, we will announce a Group Purchase, and start bringing the wheels in. A container holds 250-300 sets of wheels. Thus, we would need a minimum of 50 sets ordered in the GP to pull the trigger. And yes, you can mix and match sizes between 18/19.

We documented 82 Solstice & Sky owners, as well as several Dealerships, requesting a staggered 5-spoke wheel option. Well, it is time to step up! The ball will be in your court. Please vote and help decide the success (or fate) of this opportunity. If enough people vote, we will post the Group Purchase ASAP.

For those of you who have not yet had the pleasure of viewing this incredible 5-spoke wheel, here are the Silver and Black versions:

ABOUT THE DRIFT-R
Each staggered set includes 18" or 19" diameters, with 8" wide fronts with a 2" Lip, and 9" wide rears with a 3" lip. With this package, you can fit a 275 on the rear with NO RUBBING OR FENDER ROLLING!

Long, wickedly stunning, curved spoke profile provides sexy lines with excellent caliper clearance. Finishes are in brilliant Magnesium Silver Centers with a Machined Clear Coat Lip or Competition Black with a Machined Polished Lip. These wheels can be chromed for an additional fee. Includes pressed-in aluminum (not cheap plastic) hub-centric rings for a secure fit! Wheel and tire packages (Pricing TBA) will also be available. Wheel weights will be comparable to the Gravana J2 Solstice & Sky wheels.

Thank you all in advance for your support! We have been listening to your requests and we will do our best to bring you what you want, if the demand is still there. Please take the time to cast your vote in the poll if you are serious.

Jim

Those are nice. I would like a 7-spoke option like on the Crossfire. Just an idea.

If you can get the sliver ones down to 1000shipped it is something I would think about. It is pretty much the same price as the TSW wheels.

Great point - thanks for the feedback! We sell TSW wheels as well, and TSW does not offer a staggered set-up for our cars. In fact, the 5-spoke Nogaro, which is popular among the Cavalier/Sunfire and sport compact market, is available in a non-staggered set for the Sol/Sky. Unfortunately, it ends up being an apples to oranges comparison.

If you are shopping in a specific price range and you don't mind having the same size wheels front & rear, we have several wheel options on our website at:

Thanks again!

Hey Jim, I am looking at a price range. Also do you remember talking to a guy named Gabe at Sema ? He showed you some pictures of my car.

Also I love those wheels. How much would those TSW costs ?

thanks

I found this on the Crossfire forum: "I would like a 5-spoke option like on the Pontiac Solstice, a less expensive and much, much sexier car."

Alright, alright! I made this up!

What does staggered mean again? Also I like those 5 spoke design, but would rather have something shiny like chrome. Im also kicking tires. I am quite happy with the stock rims.

Staggerd-Where their are two different sized lips on each rim. ex. front wheels have 1inch lip, rear wheels have 2inch lip.

or 18's up fron 19's in the rear.

Staggered wheels have a real down side--inability to rotate your tires for more even tire wear. Less tire life and more money replacing expensive tires. Seems to me to be form over substance.

Russims, do you have more pics of your car. I would like to see bigger pics the one in your sig looks sweet with those rims. Is your car lowered or does the 19s make it look like it?

Edit: Nevermind I did a search and found it. Love those rims! Whats the offset? Price?

Car was not lowered--did not want any tire rubbing issues and the ride is sufficiently hard enough. The offset for the rims was 40+ which pushes them out but no problems at all with fender clearances. The 40+ offset may also be the reason it may look like it fills the wheel well better. Given I went from the standard 45 series tire to a 40 series, but 19" diameter the overall diameter stayed the same.

The chrome rims ran more money than the power coated hypersilver, but I wanted the chrome for easier maintenance--and bling. Due to the open spoke design it does make the rotor look small so at some point I am going with a big brake kit but in the meantime I simply painted the calipers.

Contact Sean Tito at RK Sport for a good deal on the rims--will let him quote you a price. The painted rims are very reasonable for a quality rim. Do not know the weight but what the heck--I am not racing anyhow.

Compression may need 10's on the rear just to get some grip with 312whp!
