hmm with the falken 255/40 that would probably stick out an inch further then the stock wheels and tires. Curious what that would look like and if it would fit. Could either look really cool, really stupid or just not fit. Someone should try it and tell me how it works

It's a shame it's not an ET50 wheel. If it were we could use it for stock class autocrossing. If the weight is really 18.0lbs I know there are many guys who would buy them solely for the 0.4lb weight advantage over the SSR and OZ wheels, me included.
Lets see:
OZ Ultraleggra has a 50mm offset
Sektor Forged has a 45mm offset.
Stock rims have a 55mm offset (can someone confirm this?)
If this is true, it makes going to a 255mm wide tire an even tighter fit.
Does Gravana make a tire setup recommendation for these wheels?

The wheel wells on the Solstice are huge. A 265/40R18 fits up front with no problems, and a 275 may even fit. However, this wheel is only 8" wide and the only responsible street tire size recommendation would be 245/45R18 or 255/45R18.
I have a set 19" TSW rims with the 45+ offset and 245 X 40 tires and although they are pushed out somewhat from stock, have no problems with clearance issues and do not look odd. I have not lowered the car though.
Only issue I have faced due to the 45+ offset is because the tires are pushed out somewhat, the front tires do kick up small rocks and it has caused chipped paint at the every back end on the RK Sport side skits I have installed.

No kidding.. I'm looking for anything stock legal that I can get a deal on. I just don't have the cash for everything I want.. and was hoping that we could get a few options available that might drive price competition.
