I'll give you guys the chronology of my wheels...
OE - 18x8 ET55 cast wheels 245/45R18 Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires - Wheels Sold to SolStan for use on an SSB racecar, tires were disposed of.
First I bought Race wheels
OZ Ultraleggera 18x8 ET50 cast wheels (18.4lbs) with 285/30R18 Hoosier A6 tires - still using 'em.
Then I wanted to use a set of tires from my old car. Long story short, these wheels don't fit 100% correctly so I returned them after a week.
Sport Edition F2 17x7.5 ET45 cast wheels with 245/45R17 Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R tires.
The tires returned to the wheels from the old car and I had them drilled to fit the Solstice.
Shuk W22 17x7.5 ET40 2pc, cast center, forged barrel wheels with the above RE-01R's - still used from time to time, got to kill the RE01R's eventually.
Finally I found some simply perfect street wheels for the Sol. Had them drilled to fit too.
SSR GT2 18x9 ET55 2pc, SSF center, forged barrel, 18.4lb wheels wrapped in 265/40R18 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's

First you need a special insert and the wheels have to be compatible with the insert. Any skilled machinist with the right equipment should be able to do it. Mine were drilled by a fellow autocrosser/machinist who happens to be the reason we have OZ Ultraleggera's for the Solstice.

Thanks. I have always been a 5-spoke kind of guy and these are my one of my all-time favorite wheels. Too bad SSR stopped making them when Tanabe took over.
Sport Edition (Satin) from Tire rack and here they are after I freshly painted them to match my Deep GXP. Stuck's look pretty simular to these.

My-Low, I am seriously considering a set of OZ 18" Ultraleggeras for my GXP, wider in back. Not yet decided on tires. I am wondering why you elected to get rid of your OZs. Comments please.

I too am considering the ultralegga's with 18X9's out back. I have heard some stories about them not fitting correctly. Did you have any clearence issues with the wider rim out back?
