Just got my O.Z. 35th anniversary wheels from tirerack.com. Wow, they are just what I wanted. Remeniscent of the spoked wheels on Austin Healy's and Jags but with a modern Italian flare. They have a 38mm offset (mounting plate to center distance), less than the 55mm on the standard wheel, so they stick out an extra 5/8", perfect for the flare of the fenders!!! I don't intend to lower the car, so it works perfectly. Got some seriouis attention at a party last night. Midnight blue Solstice with black and silver spoked wheels... I'm in heaven.

It's on his avatar Giz but I'd like to see a larger image.

Thanks, old soldier, I didn't notice. But yes, the avatar is just too dark and we need a photo taken in the bright sunlight, which does occur every so often, even in San Francisco!

And Morfious, thanks to you too. That shows the wheels very well. Still would like to see them on a Deep (mmm, or a Sly like MARiSOL).

Oh yeah, THAT's what I'm TALKing about!

Those look fine, even better on a Deep than on a Mean.

Thanks for sharing.

It will be a labor of love. I LOVE this car. I have only seen one car that I like as much, a brand new silver Maserati (probably costs a little more than $24,000). Other than that one, I feel that I'm driving the coolest car in San Francisco (along with the other Solstices).

By the way, the OZ 35 wheels are 5 lbs more each than the stock Solstice wheels, and the extra 5/8" width for each tire means that the tire may rub the fender if you lower it. Don't get these for racing. I got them for the extreme looks.
