Ok, I'm interested in the SSR wheels, but I want to know if they will actually fit my GXP or not. I have seen them on both the base and GXP, but one guy a few posts down had trouble putting them on his GXP. I know the GXP hubs are just ever so slightly larger then the base model. I just want to know if they will fit before I drop the cash.
The SSR's will fit on most GXP's they fit on mine without and issue, other's have had difficulty. I love them. I did just have to take a piece of sandpaper and knock the rust of the hubs, took about a minute on each hub.

They fit. I have a GXP, and the rims. They're fine. They are a tight fit though, and I would recommend some oil, or some type of lube between the ring and the hub during fitment.
To my knowledge, the wheels are the same for the base & GXP models.
I had a base and purchased a GXP. The GXP was ordered incorrectly, it had polished wheels, and I wanted chromed. The dealer gave me the chromed wheels off my base and put them on the GXP. They fit perfectly.

Fixed that for ya. A similar sized street tire would crown badly due to its thicker and stiffer tread base.
BTW-
The 18x9 ET55 OZ Ultraleggera weighs 19.4lbs and will hold a 275/35R18 or 265/40R18 perfectly. I don't just mean on the rear either. That setup will fit F and R on the Kappa cars.

Nice
In my opinion the 275/40R18 size tire is still a questionable fit for the front. My 265/40R18 came pretty close to the front of the fender well and the taller, slightly wider 275/40R18 would be cutting it very close. They may fit but AFAIK no one has test fitted it.
The 275/35R18 are a little shorter but should look simply awesome.
