Will a 9.5 18 inch wheel with a 45 offset work on our car with a 275 35 18? Or is 9.0 18 the widest we can go?

I do believe the wheel will fit fine, however, please note that the tire size you want to use will be small diameter than stock. Use a 275/40/18 to retain stock diameter.

You would have to do a front end check for rubbing when turning at the full radius. Even though a 45 offset moves the tire out about a 1/2 inch, it still may rub. I have 42mm offset 18x8s

Thanks for the reply guys. I am going to run 8's on the front and 9.5's on the back. Reason for that tire size, is because it is the same diameter as I am running now, 25.6".

You may be surprised to find that those 18x9.5 ET45 wheels may fit in the front too. I ran a 18x9 ET55 wheel up front with a 265/40R18 tire and your proposed rear wheel extends into the wheel well less than my old wheels did by 4mm. Of course those wheels will also extend about 16-17mm further out from the car than my old wheels did too. You'll need to check the outer radius for clearance to the wheel well liner but I think that you'll find no interference problems on the inside of the wheel.
