.
Its not my G35 but the reason he hit the curb was because he tries to park an inch away to maximize the distance from the door of the car parked on the other side (to avoid dings). Suffice it to say that while your advice may sound practical in theory in doesn't always work out well in practice.

It is a rare wheel that has aluminum sticking out farther than the rubber so I'll just assume you haven't driven around a car like that.

So let me put in a vote for G35-like wheels where the spokes do not protude out farther than the rubber.

I'll second the multi-spoke, close to original but few more spokes

I like Stang's suggestion. By the way, can you give some more info on these (what, where, etc....)?

Thanks. For now, they live on the Infiniti G35 and will not fit on a Solstice. Kappasphere is looking to make a new style wheel and wanted to know what style people wanted. So, I suggested they model a wheel after the G35 wheels. It seems that I'm not alone in this thought, which is kinda cool. It's now up to Kappasphere to decide what they want to do next.

Of course, I'm hoping they build my suggestion.

In that case, I hereby cast 2 votes..........

I love the looks of the AX wheels, just wish they were a bit lighter. I'll probably get them anyway, but I see some of these wheels like the BBS RGRs, and they are so light. I really want to lose some unsprung weight.

Anyway I went to a local tire place and asked them to look into seeing which rims would work best on my car. He found about 5 and these are the ones that I am looking at getting. Total cost rims,mounting,lug/lock kit, lifetime balancing and rotation and tax total: 962.68 figure that I could not find that deal anywhere else. What do ya think?
Those look like a four lug... they won't work... the Sol has a five lug.

Well Jimbo and fastmike have taste. Those are all delicious. Oh and HRE's are nice, though that style wasn't my type.
Chrome should never be on wheels only on big wall clocks hanging from rappers necks.

I was going to suggest the BBS LMs, thought they would fit the cars lines very well, looks like you guys felt the same way:

I would like these in gunmetal for my gunmetal solstice that I am dreaming up:

The other style that came to mind was something similar to Techart:

Cant wait to see some dropped solstices with blacked out grilles shaved badges and aftermarket wheels.
