Wider Rear / Stock Wheels

Performance tires: anyone knows of a brand and/or running a wider performance tire w/the stock wheels; e.g., a 255/265, or a 275 width, in the rear only (other than GS-D3s). It’s a little challenging finding one.

Appreciate any help in advance.

Let's try this...anyone running a 275/40/18 tire on the stock rims. If so, how do you like them? And are you lowered?

Appreciate any feedback.

I do not think 275 on stock Rims were a good idea.
My_Low_Sol mentioned this on another thread.
265's if you can find them would be the widest for our stock Rims.

The general consensus (big time) has been that stock tire sizes are the limit for rims. That is unless you go for pure racing hoosiers @ 295's. But that is ridiculous in anything other a pure race mode.

There are lots of wider tires you can get, but you shouldn't put them on the stock rims.

Thanks...I was going to go w/the Kumho MX, as they come in a 275...fairly ceratin they would fit on a stock wheel. Moot point now, ended up getting some Direzza's, for a heck of a price. So, I'll stick w/the 245 for now, next time I'll upgrade wheels and tires.
