I have a 07 GXP with 1857 miles on it. Check engine light came on tonight. Been using the same gas and I checked the fuel cap and it was on correctly. Has anyone had the same problem?

Thats like saying you're not feeling well and want us to tell you whats wrong with you... you need to find out what the code is first. Theres hundreds of error codes, either go to the dealer or get a code reader.

Could be anything, but mine came on a couple of weeks ago and it ended up being my ECM. It was shot and they put another one in for me, either way take it to the dealer and use that warranty that you paid for. JMO

Dealer checked it out and it was ECM module that was bad at 1850 miles. Part was ordered.

Wow, I actually was right for once. Mine lasted until about 15,000 miles, but there appears to be more of them "dying" lately.

My check engine light come on a couple of weeks ago, car would have trouble starting sometimes, stumble at different RPM's and stall when stopped sometimes. Took into dealer today and they said it was the cam sensor.

Mine came on at 130 miles - on my way home from picking it up from the dealership, it was a bad catalytic converter...

My light has been coming on and off since I got the GXP a little over a year ago. Recently it has come on to stay. Every time we think it is fixed it comes on again. Last Saturday on my way home from a drive 11 miles from my home it came on, my car lost all but about 5% of it's power and I had to get it trucked to a dealer.Light came on with a message Reduced Engine power. They say it look like a fuel sensor??? Guess I will find out soon but hope it finally gets fixed for good. I am tired of seeing the light come on.

They cannot figure out the source of your CEL after over a year!

I would either locate another dealer, or contact GM. JMHO Mine were for a bad ECM and Cat (so far), but they always have found the issue quickly at my dealership.

Check engine light, my solstice GXP has 5775 miles on it. I brought it down to Advance auto for a code reader on my engine light. I had 2 errors not 1.
Code PO130 02 Sensor Circuit
Code PO135 02 Sensor Heater
Anyone else have or had this problem? I've had no loss of power or performance.

BillPat07 Take your vehicle down to a auto parts shop and tell them you have the engine light. They will probably give you a code reader for you to use or they may do it for you. It just plugs in. you start you vehicle and it reads the code. the code will give you an idea what the problem is. Mine happens to be 2 codes both dealing with The 02 Sensor. That way you might know what someone is talking about when they fix it.
