Can anyone tell me the diameter of the 2 hoses that connect the intercooler with the charge pipes. The factory hoses have metal rings in them but I need the diameter because I am going to order new silicone hose for those spots. In the picture below, they are number 2.
I've got my original IC on a shelf in the garage. I'll go out and measure it........ It looks like it's 2-3/8 on the IC, so that would be the inside diameter of the hose.

I need the size of the inside diameter of the hose that I would need to buy.
Like BLG GXP said, its 2 3/8 in size. I doubt you're going to find this size since most silicon hoses are 2.5", and if you try to use 2.5" hoses odds are they wont seal at all.
If the hose comes in 1/4 inch increments, you might get 2-1/4. but I don't know if it will stretch enough to go over the hump in the pipes. I know there are some members who've replaced these hoses. Maybe someone cane chime in.

Did you mean 2 3/4? They have 3 inch diameter but i havent seen the 2.5inch ones yet. It is special hose...its actually called charge air cooler hose...it has the humps in the middle to allow it to bend.
I have my original IC Pipes at home (dejon in the car) .
I"ll measure them and let you know

I replaced mine with 2 3/4, I believe it is actually 2 5/8 " and t -bolts and have had no issues. They need to be at least 4" long, so you have to buy a length of hose and cut it yourself. I made mine 5" long each.

I measures and its actually 2 3/8" inner diameter. I bought that size hose from online in
6" length and got "hump hose" to accommodate the slight angle that the pipes enter in on. This will ensure a proper seal.
Maybe I used 2 1/2 It was a long time ago. I know I used whatever Dave from Dejon told me it was, I didn't use the hump hose there isn't that much of an angle. I have had no issue's been on there a year.
I found the old receipt, yes I used 2 1/2 and 2 3/4 t-bolts. Silicone is pretty easy to tighten down. I have had no leaks.
