You can also disconnect the cables inside the driver side fender for 30 minutes (no radio reset), no you don't need to disconnect for the wastgate mod.

As apposed to the type that expects everything to be handed to them?
And maybe I just posted that as an example of how easy it was to actually find the information right here on the forum or heaven forbid the actual owners manual?
Any way hope you found the information useful.

Refering to a black rectangular box with cables coming out of it on top of a aluminum part with cooling fins that is in the fender well. That is your ECU.
The reason why you unplug the ECU for 30 minutes is because there are capacitors inside of the ECU. THe capacitors have to discharge in order for the ECU to erase the driving habits that you have created. Your vehicle will still function properly when you plug the ECU back in but, "you will make new driving habits for the car without driving it soft like we all should of been doing in the first 500 miles." Or you can get a HPtuner and don't even have to unplug anything.
A dashhawk has a feature to reset fuel trims. You could also do it that way.

So if I pull those fuses for 30 minutes or more will it reset it even though I have the Gmroadster tune? I'm getting horrible knocking since I got it and have it at the shop right now getting serviced and maybe having the spark plugs replaced. My mechanic said I shouldn't have to replace the spark plugs at 55k miles since the manual says replace them at 100k.
I just want to get it off my car since it's not working out.
I've got a 2008 GXP.
