IAT pre or post intercooler?

Is the inlet air temp the computer reads pre or post intercooler. I datalogged some stuff at nationals to look at comparisons between ambient and intake but Im not even sure the intake sensor is where I want it,

The iat is at the maf, iat2 is past the intercooler. Currently only hptuners can read iat2.
