I came out from work today and had a puddle in my shifter Boot .It had been raining all day .Has anybody else had this problem? I unhooked it and rite at the middle it was aLL WET. Could the catch have been loose .top was not down sense Beginning of OCT. at the MM6 in MD.
i had the same problem with the leaking and the top ripping at the buttress where it snaps down. Since then it has been replaced 3 different times and all of the seals have been replaced as well.

Location: Under an invisibility cloak, somewhere in the Northeast
This may be the situation and fix Venice talked about:
Quote:
Subject: Water Leak Down "A" Pillar or Drips from Roof Header onto Shifter (Apply Sealer to Convertible Top Seam)
Condition
Some customers may comment on a water leak down the "A" pillar where the front top weatherstrip meets the windshield weatherstrip, or drips from the roof header onto the shifter.
Cause
This condition may be caused by the transition at the convertible top seams being too big for the seal to overcome.
Correction
Apply clear silicone sealer to the opening at the seam to smooth out the transition between the convertible top sections.
GM bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, NOT a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform these technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, DO NOT assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See your GM dealer for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
