Took the car out just now and was doing about 60 when the power dropped out for a second, when it came back I had 0 boost and half the power. The engine now surges slightly, but no thrown codes. The car had 256 miles and it looks like its going in for service.

Did you check your hoses?

I did but I missed one. When I checked the second time I saw it. The hose did pop off right at the intake manifold. Thanks Mena, seems to be ok now but I did disconnect the battery to reset the ECO. Anyone know if driving for 10 miles with the hose disconnected can damage the turbo?

It won't damage the turbo. Glad it was a simple fix.

Yea, I am glad it was simple too, I hate taking cars in for service. I believe this was missed at assembly so I would suggest that GXP owners check all the intake hose connections to make sure they are tight.

Yep that sounds good. I'll get under the hood tomorrow.

Checked the fuse box and I was surprised to find that almost all the fuses and relays were not totally seated. Almost everyone I pushed on moved down a little.

I have yet to check a Solstice that was not that way. I think they use a machine to set them all. Some folks have experienced issues that related to a fuse not being seated but that seems to be the exception. Still I like them all the way in ...

No, I owned a NA and this was far below 177hp. Without boost it would not rev past 4K. I am still surprised it did not show the engine light. After I hooked up the hose the power was back but there was still a very slight surging of the RPM. Once I reset the ECU that went away.
