Have a new noise that comes only after driving for awhile and the car is warmed up good. It sounds like a heat shield or a piece of metal that vibrates at about 35 MPH and goes away above or below that speed. When the car is driven around town the noise is not present. Doesn't sound like its coming from the rear end. Already have a slight whine at 50 to 55 from the rear end. Any ideas?

Check the heat shield under the car above the front of the midpipe on the exhaust...mine had a loose bolt.

Hey.. I had it in my 06 and the speed wasn't the key it is the rpm.. Try listening for it @ 2700 rpms in 2 & 3. has to be exactly at 2700.. Hold it at that and listen. No none cure..

Let me know if thats it.. I do not have it on my GXP...

I'll have to get the car up on the ramps and see if its the heat shield. Mine is a 07 GXP with auto, just under 7k miles. The noise is annoying especially when coming into towns and slowing down. Most towns are around 30 MPH so it's really right around where it vibrates. Thanks again for all your help.
