Nice.

I think LilGoat mentioned the clamps needed replacement on the pipes going to the intercooler. Have you seen any issues there?

I haven't, but I haven't looked at it very closely either...

I'll probably get arouund to it when I replace the pipes there.

Is this pipe easier to replace than the stock one?? I put t-clamps on UptownMarie's car last night and it was a PITA to get that top one back on. I'm not even 100% positive it's back on. I may have to go back over there tonight.

More so than the stock hose.

The pipe is obviously not flexible at all, so all you have to work with are the couplers. And, if you put the elbow right up against the throttle body, you lose even more movement (play).

I did leave the bottom T-Bolt Clamp of the upper Coupler slightly loose, however. It gave me a little play while trying to fit the lower Coupler onto the intercooler pipe. Thats where the screw driver came in handy. I used it to pry the lower Coupler onto the intercooler pipe.

Once you're done, make sure to tighten all of the clamps down, but not too tight. I sheared off one of the bolts during the process and had to drive back into town for a rerplacement...

Nothing for nothing, it was harder to install than my High-Flow CAT. But, I had the expertise of Deepbluegxp in my corner on that one....

It is a true pain in the.... I have a feeling that's why most are loose from the factory. I have done mine a couple of times now and it is still a pain. I ordered the wrong color hose the first time. I now have all red hoses and finally everything is tight. The last time I did it I put the hose on the throttle body and got it all squared away and snug, then put on the pipe. This is not the easiest way but I believe I got the best seal this way. When I did it the second time I flipped the clamps over from what Def did on the IC hose joint and it worked a little better.
